Last updated: July 25, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.archestimating.com and any estimating, takeoff, scheduling, architecture, or related services provided by Arch Estimating LLC. By requesting a quote, submitting plans, placing an order, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

We provide professional support services such as construction cost estimating, quantity/material takeoffs, bid preparation support, CPM scheduling, and architectural drafting/design documentation as scoped in your quote or written confirmation.

Deliverables, turnaround, and pricing are defined per project. Scope changes, addenda, incomplete plans, or additional trades may require revised pricing and timeline.

3. Quotes & Orders

A quote is an offer based on the information and files you provide. Work begins after you accept the quote (or otherwise authorize us in writing/email) and any required deposit or payment terms are met.

You are responsible for providing complete, legible plans and accurate project assumptions. Incomplete or unclear documents may delay delivery or affect accuracy.

4. Client Responsibilities

You represent that you have the right to share plans and project information with us, and that using our services will not violate third-party rights or confidentiality obligations you owe to others.

  • Review deliverables promptly and request revisions within the agreed revision window
  • Confirm trade scope, units, and exclusions before we start production when asked
  • Use deliverables for their intended business purpose and in accordance with applicable law

5. Nature of Estimating Deliverables

Estimates, takeoffs, and schedules are professional opinions based on available documents, stated assumptions, and industry practice. They are not a guarantee of final construction cost, contractor bid amounts, schedule outcomes, or permit approval.

Final bidding decisions, markups, contractual commitments, and construction means and methods remain solely yours (or your contractor’s).

6. Architecture & Drawing Services

Drawing and design support is provided as scoped. Unless expressly stated in writing, we do not provide licensed professional engineering stamps, architecture licensure seals, or jurisdiction-specific certified submissions beyond the documents described in your order.

You are responsible for verifying code compliance requirements with local authorities and any licensed professionals required for your project.

7. Payment

Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. Late payments may pause ongoing work. Deliverables may be withheld until amounts due are paid. Fees are generally non-transferable once production has started, subject to our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive a license to use the project-specific deliverables for the project described in your order. Arch Estimating LLC retains ownership of methodologies, templates, workflows, and pre-existing materials. You may not resell our templates or rebrand our work as your own product offering without written permission.

9. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful business purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape content at scale without permission, misuse forms, or upload malicious files.

Website calculators and planning tools provide rough order-of-magnitude guidance only and are not formal estimates.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arch Estimating LLC’s total liability arising out of any project or these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the specific deliverable giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including bid losses, construction delays, or cost overruns.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arch Estimating LLC from claims arising from your misuse of deliverables, inaccurate information you provided, or your failure to obtain required professional stamps, permits, or contractual approvals.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Sacramento County, California, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes to an active paid order will be communicated when applicable.
